Good Looking Modern Cars?

Post by NewcastleFalcon »

The car I got the most excitement out of at the buying stage was my second car a Triumph GT6. While I cut my DIY mechanicing teeth taking my first Mini to bits and putting it together again, I really got to "know my trunnions" with the GT6 :-D

Still I've stopped by here to continue the Mazda MX5 fest with this example which I happened to come across walking the dog.

No idea what it was but something decent looking came up my street, turned around outside my house and went away again.
Looked a bit American. Will have to keep a look out for it.

I took him to the woodcote rally the other week. They had loads of old motors on display, he loved it.

My son grew up being dragged round classic & Yank shows - he drives a Honda Jazz (albeit after a brief flirtation with a 2CV)!

Similarly my son grew up around my rally cars from Samba Sport to Integrale and now he lives in Devon having upgraded from his Honda Jazz to the Megane Scenic to cope with the family. Where did we go wrong? :-D

You didn't go wrong! You taught him well....

To buy a safe, reliable, easy to maintain car and spend time doing more interesting things with the family!

Life's too short to drive boring cars & a Megane is too modern to be easy to maintain (I'm not in a position to comment "doing more interesting things with the family")

Good Looking Modern Cars?

Post by NewcastleFalcon »

I'm pleased that the title of the thread includes this, the question mark ?.

Hints that its all a matter of opinion. Well I have found at least one person, the author of the article, who claims
"Lexus just dropped the best color combination possible (fight me) on the best-looking Lexus of all time. The only caveat? They're only making 100. "

Do you agree? I've put it in the spoiler in case anyone is of a sensitive disposition. Once seen it can't be unseen :-D
Spoiler: show
For those interested the colour is Nori Green Pearl (Nori is dried algae) and it has a Tan Interior

Not a pleasant sight.

Good thing they are only making 100 - I will never have to see one.
