C5 X7 front end loose

Post by Viitonen »

Hello,

I have a 2009 hdi sedan X7. My front end has made this annoying squeking noise for several months. It comes from the lower arm bushings from both sides. When I spray wd40 or similar there it stops the noise for a while. So, I know the arm bushings are in poor shape. When I'm driving to a curve rather fast I can feel the front end is somewhat loose more than it used to be. Is this caused by the bushings?

Next thing will of course be the lower arm change anyway. What do I expect to do? Are there any howto's around to do that? Thank you!
