Not really significant in any way other than that my brain enjoys the symmetry of when sequences like this happen by random chance.

..And a few points for a decent tripometer...although 242.4 would have been perfection :-D

Any other ancillary bits of information.....song on the radio/cd?....location?....date/time?....journey destination?

I was quite pleased with my last significant milage post because it co-incided with Wilson Phillips "Hold on" on the radio....one in the top class category of songs in my opinion :-D

This is not just a significant milage thread, this is an FCF significant milage thread! More bang for your buck than any other!

It's what I might try to call a semi-coincidence. I did think about planning an opportune moment to reset the trip, and noted the figures on getting home one night, ready for some arithmetic. Then I realised zeroing it right then would produce this result, which seemed nice enough.

Nothing particular about circumstances. There was a a day or two when I wondered if I'd be able to tell you this was somewhere between Geldrop and Bottrop, but after a busier than planned previous weekend it happened a day earlier on the A34 here not the A13 in B or A31 in D

I racked up 123123 on my Jaguar XJR on 12th march 2013 :-) Didn't dare photograph it as I was doing license losing speeds at the time :-(

One of my landrovers which has been a bit of a problem child and required numerous major mechanical interventions tripped the 150000 mark with me at the helm, I did capture that though.

The other thing I have noticed reading through this thread is just how many of the car have interplanetary mileages on their clocks.

Well done Zel.....
temp 4.png
For the non cricket fan thats David Shepherd who always did a little jig when the scoreboard showed 111 the full nelson, 222 double nelson...etc. The Gloucestershire cricket team, of which Shepherd was a member, apparently would all have to have both feet in the air and would do a little jump when the score reached 111 so he famously carried this on to his umpiring days :-D.

Bit more in this spolier :-D
Spoiler: show

Diesel Vectra very likely to have emerged from the production line at Ellesmere Port.
1.9cdti engine (150 bhp), designed in joint venture between GM and Fiat
Their (Vauxhall’s) CDTI engine, manufactured in Pratola Serra, Italy and Kaiserslautern, Germany, is the product of the half-decade joint venture between GM and Fiat. It is used in the Vectra, Signum, Astra, Zafira, Cadillac BLS and Suzuki SX4 as well as some Saabs marked as TiD and TTiD (twinturbo version).
Automatic gearbox Aisin AF 40 6-speed, (AKA...TF-80SC and AM6 in PSA Vehicles)

It has been a good workhorse and I have put 160,000 on it so it’s pretty much served it’s purpose,

Thanks Neil, wasn't aware of this joint venture, guess there's been a lot of them...
...aware I can think of at least three off the top of my head involving the Renault 30, Peugeot Expert and Talbot Express. No doubt there are many more.

This is a Wilson Phillips significant milage (yes their track "Hold on" was playing when 55555 cameup) Todays milage when the track played again, is numerically quite insignificant.....unless we can draw meaning for the random numbers.

So I can give you 58091, 58092, and 58093 as being the random milages today covered by the track. I will no doubt find some obscure Indian Train number, can anyone turn up something else significant from the numbers?
