I don't have an issue with rubbish when I am out in my van. I was given one of these as a present a few Christmases ago;

ImageMarshall Steam Roller "Joan" (1925) by Captain Tower, on Flickr

A bit more on 'Joan': It's on long term loan to Amberley Museum from West Sussex County Council. It was purchased new by Midhurst Rural District Council, and operated in the Midhurst area all its working life.
At eight tons working weight, it was a medium sized roller suitable for general purpose work. It was working for the council for over 50 years. It was, indeed, the last steam roller to be operated by a local authority anywhere in the country.
And what of 'Joan' and her current whereabouts ??

Unfortunately, looking a little under the weather at the moment :(

Sadly no longer a C5 owner :(

I did have another one in mind but dashcam has overwritten it.....AA event sign for 'Bearded Theory Festival' at Alrewas/Barton on the A38
I did Google it and was pleasantly surprised that it was not what i thought it may have been or the 2 signs linked in any way :)

Looked up Bearded Theory too! Quite a few blasts from the past in the artists line up. Saw the Editors live at Meadowbank Stadium in Edinburgh about 12 years ago, very impressive set.

I do believe the Flat Earth Society is still a going concern.

For some reason that particular sign/graffiti reminds me of the "twinned with Narnia" notice that appeared under "Newton Abbot" sign on the Totnes Road.

By an extraordinary coincidence, there was mention in the paper on Friday of one of its local groups meetings - in a pub called "The Globe"

For the eagle eyed French Car Forum car spotter surprisingly the car is not an Audi...

Its one of ours!

A Peugeot Driver no less...

HM Coastguard Gorleston said: "The driver, having ignored the sign, said he believed that his car would go anywhere."

Quite a common occurrence in Weston Super Mare, the beach looks inviting but it's actually mud, the sort that takes your wellies off if you step in it, a lot of cars over the years have been washed over by the incoming tide.
Man is, by nature, a lazy beast, he does not need twice encouraging to do nothing.

Maybe even more idiotic than the Peugeot Driver

"A Coastguard spokesman said: "The driver of the Range Rover was a young man who had attempted to test out the vehicle, having watched TV adverts of it being driven off-road - but without realising how dangerous the mudflats can be. "

A couple of signs I came across in the last couple of years, firstly from a south coast yacht club

Wouldn't want to get nappy rash :-D

and then from a mystery field in Bedfordshire
