Lidl's seem to have quite a lot of tools in at the moment; the 1/4" + 3/8" ratchets for £7.99 the two looks a good deal.

Bought a pair of side window sunblinds, unusual in that they come with extra suckers to supplement the hooks that go over the glass & that they work like roller blinds, complete with press buttons to retract them. They should work on the back windows of the C15 to provide privacy, when it is my "tin tent" - though for £3.99, I've taken a chance on the size.

I bought a 230mm Angle Grinder. and some cutting discs. I think they were a hangover from a couple of weeks ago but excellent value.

I rate Aldi for their car stuff tbh.

Also, for any motorcyclists, they occasionally have decent CE approved armor for sale! Mad how some things get so expensive and yet there's still Aldi :rofl2:

Thanks James. I keep putting off buying one of those AA Map books for the RRP £7.99 knowing that they always come up somewhere for £1.99, and there we have it LIDL Sunday 14th!

I bought one of those torque wrenches a few years back, for the same price.
I find it quite difficult to set, apart from that is seems OK. I only use it to torque up wheel nuts, usually after fitting new tyres to be sure they aren't wound on too tight.
Always been OK as the tyre fitter uses a torque wrench himself.

Those RedX twin packs must be worth looking at, I can vouch for the diesel product - quite transformed the C15 - but must check to unit price against the 50%(?) more bottles - for £3.99 in Trago Mills.

That RedX is dear; £4.99 for 250ml x 2, compared with 500ml for £3.49 at Trago's.

Appreciate Trago's is not convenient for most but if there's any interest, happy to stock up - within reason: handover/delivery by arrangement.

(info from a couple of other websites)

There will be vouchers for £5 discount on £25 Lidl spend, one in tomorrow's (Thurs) free Metro paper, and this weekend's Daily Mail on Saturday, and Mail on Sunday

voucher usable until 28th, I think it said

only two alcohol items allowed

can't combine 2 or 3 vouchers on same purchase, but nothing to stop you going round again
