It might be sulking from lack of use. How long since you last ran it?

Re: Year 2099?
Probably last year sometime. I do drag it out and charge it periodically although it rarely needs it.
A good excuse to replace it - no updates in it's lifetime so it is often of limited use.

Re: Year 2099?
Is there anything to fix this problem other than set clock and date manually? I guess this would require software update, and that won´t happen anymore.

Re: Year 2099?
Mine has resurrected itself.
Did some pootling around with just the map showing and it got the positioning correct.
Set it to take me home (only half a mile in a straight line but three miles by road)
It knew the way and I confused it by taking alternative routes, recalculated correctly within a few seconds.
Time was correct too, never looked at the date.

Re: Year 2099?
At least it knows where home is.
Will be going to Teesside next weekend so will see if it can find it's way there.
It knew when I was at my son's house - ¼ mile away (1 mile to drive there).
It hasn't been there before
