Unfortunately they are not PSA part numbers, so are likely to be some internal manufacturing numbers printed on the assembly themselves.
However, if it helps, there are only one set of part numbers for these right hand drive Xsara I and Xsara II conrod assemblies and motors and one set of part numbers for the left hand drive models. So if those parts are from a RHD Xsara II it should fit

Re: Broken Wiper Linkage
Thanks - thats what I was hoping. Mechanic told me as they where MkII assemblies they would not fit my car as mine was a MI.
I'll get the best out of these.
I would love to upgrade to variable intermittence wipers, but I don't suppose that that is easily done?

Re: Broken Wiper Linkage
Well as said, the actual mechanical assembly and the motors are the same, so this feature would be down to the Comms unit board / BSI variant I suspect.

Re: Broken Wiper Linkage
When my daughter ran a Xsara her wiper assembly broke down. I got a replacement off ebay for about £20. Here's a pic of the old one. You can see the ball joint that's come adrift.

Re: Broken Wiper Linkage
Yeah, that's the same failure point as mine.
Shame about the intermittent wipers - its one of the things I miss the most when switching back from other vehicles.

Re: Broken Wiper Linkage
One of the pivot arms that operates the wiper on my Dispatch has seized, resulting in the linkage keep popping off.ordered a second hand one from eBay, as new they are 220 odd quid. I sent seller an email asking if this one had free movement, lo and behold it was seized too, but they managed to strip it, clean and lubricate, and all working now. Like every job on Citroens, p i t a to do.
Cheers Rich

Re: Broken Wiper Linkage
I'll figure it out, but can anyone tell me how to remove the plastic converting the front wiper linkage on the xsara?

Re: Broken Wiper Linkage
Only what I said before:
From memory (ours went a good few years ago) you have to take the top panel off. It's held in place by plastic clips which mostly broke when prised away. Try to preserve as many as possible they are NLA now. I found a clip off some other vehicle and then used double sided sticky to complete the job.

Re: Broken Wiper Linkage
Thanks. I made a puller from some scrap box section and a bolt to get the arms off.
I don't suspect that a heat gun would help protect the clips? It's a bit cold here which would not help the brittle clips.

Re: Broken Wiper Linkage
Must take a bit of force to remove those clips. Sorry, not sure how I missed your first post.
