Blaupunkt radio code

Just got a 97 Xantia 1.8lx and don't have the code for the radio. As far as I know radio is original and the serial number is BP2775V9715628. Is Anyone here able to work out code for me? Cheers

I think your only hope is to speak to Citroen and see if the code is stored with your VIN on their database.

I assume that you have checked that it has not been written somewhere in one of the handbooks?

If you have a record of the original supplying dealer, phone them first, as some kept their own records, so that they didn't need to pay Citroen for the data on a later occasion.

Thanks for link, have just tried it and waiting for email to come.
I didn't get any handbook with car so no code written anywhere. Luckily I did get the pin code for the car entry pad.

using the 14-digit serial number.

Site allows choice of car or radio make.
Worked for me on some original Philips-Citroen kit.

I’ve just tried that on a similar model on eBay and put the 14 digit number in beginning with BP, then you need to enter the 10 digit code on the unit.

Then after I did that it gave you the good news and says they have it, after you’ve coughed up £9!

For £15 you can buy the bloody stereo with code!

But probably cheaper than Citroen, although for £15 (even if they charged you), you could also get your key code and engine code for that price.
