Re: Notices..what have you spotted?
This notice looks a bit too pristine and colourful to be an original
No need to decode your paint code with a simple notice like this
Regards Neil

Re: Notices..what have you spotted?
Something nicely 'British' about walking into a parts department and asking for "a Gallon of Arden Green".
I do remember those multicolour engine-bay 'service' stickers, Neil. Some were re-created by owners' clubs (maybe by an ancestor of Russ Wallis?), but stocks of some of them lingered on inside Unipart for years.
The use of a watering can icon for coolant topping suggests a rather shoddy (but traditional) approach to coolant!

Re: Notices..what have you spotted?
that looks old ! (half surprised someone hasn't nicked it)
....possibly on an old ByWay or similar (must google the law re driving on ByWays, I did about half a mile on one last week)
Things such as this: Googlemaps 'Pin Multiple Locations' can be a really useful bit of software, I made this one with Points of Interest relevant for me; for a recent trip up to the Derbyshire Dales

Not seen that one. Are there any " HALT at major road ahead" signs still about?

Boo Hoo!!
July 4th 2018 and this......at Nash, Herefordshire I presume, but its pretty close to the Welsh Border..and the state of play of that "impracticable triangle" is this....
The Original has either been nicked, sold, or preserved and a shadow of its former self is in situ

Re: Notices..what have you spotted?
Thanks, they were all like that when I was alive There are a couple of petrol pumps at the side of the A836 at Altnaharah between Lairg and Tongue, it is about 40 miles long and that was the only fuel available I think last time we went that way they were looking a bit neglected but there was a sign on the wall saying 'For fuel ring bell at hotel' I have a picture of it somewhere, I will post if I can find it.

Don't remember seeing any but there obviously were. There were green ones in Maidstone when we got married.

One of the fascinations of public transport, the proud Corporations across the Country had their own gorgeous liveries, and coats of arms, and yes those latin, and english inspirational mottos.
Took loads of photos at the trolleybusmuseum at Sandtoft when we were there earlier in the year.
That blue livery is from Walsall i do believe like this

Re: Notices..what have you spotted?
Took this one of a Maidstone Corporation Trolley Bus hiding away in the sheds at the Trolleybus Museum at Sandtoft.....this one is in "ochre and Cream"
Regards Neil
PS
I like a "Coats of arms"...here's Maidstone's has an "Agriculture and Commerce" motto and a "Horse's Head Argent gorged with a Chaplet of Hops fructed proper"
