Thanks James, no, nothing you can do but I do appreciate the offer
As said, I'm away for a while to assist in my recovery... I'll advise when I'm back in harness and then perhaps we can make some arrangements to meet up and see what we can do with those modules.
Severe yellowing on V70 cracks and blisters at top, used wet n dry paper started off with a coarse 400, but if yours are just yellow without the cracks/ blisters you can use 600. I didnt use a polisher or grinder for the sanding, best to go one way side to side, but with the c5 ovalish shape i would go up and down change to 800 keep the headlight and paper well soaked then work your way up to 1200 and finish at 2000, then polish off with a drill attachment polish sponge or buffer and shine, you could wax them to stop sun damage. Makes a huge difference when you see the results
Can anybody find out the prices for the underbody air deflectors for me? There are three I am interested in (and the necessary fittings). According to the DocBackup the part numbers (for the deflectors) are;
7013 T2
7013 T3
7013 V7
and the fittings have the numbers
7030 16
7030 18
6939 97
Thanks (and I know my wallet is probably going to get frightened!).

They are the plastic/fiberglass covers running along the underside of the body (alongside the exhaust tunnel), protecting the pipework heading to the rear of the car and providing a smooth surface for the airflow. At least one of them on my C5 was damaged when (prior to my ownership) the engine undertray got torn off. Both of the forward mudguards were also damaged, but I have replaced these.
I intend to visit the scrappy tomorrow, to see if I can get these deflectors. Fortunately the left deflector is common across the C5 Mk1/Mk2 range, but the right one has two options (petrol and diesel engines), although within that caveat they carry across between the Mk1/Mk2. Otherwise I will be making an expensive visit to a PSA site.

I got a Polish made replacement undershield for the MKII, alas, I could of made one of far better quality out of carrier bags than what was supplied.
Ended up recycling it and buying a proper OEM one. Expensive, but they should last a lifetime. The issue is when having it serviced the mechanics NEVER manage to put everything back and always lose clips and fastenings, somwhen going at speed they gradually get forced down and then clipped or caught on speed ramps and the like and before long they just shatter and come away.
Please note, I'm no longer active on the Forum, so won't respond to messages.
I can tell (as one of the deflectors is damaged) that they are a plastic/fiberglass composite. That would explain their rigidity and strength (and why PSA charges so much for them!).
Is it fair to assume that (as there are prices available) that these items are not NFP?
