Shame they didn't offer the HDI in the C15 at the same time but, on the other hand, it does explain why I frequently pass Burlies on the road. Never seen more than 90 on the clock but but well able to mix it in the outside lane, at least on the level bits, as was evidenced only last night on the M5, 3 & 25.

My mum had a C15 based Romahome which I have seen over 90 on once or twice on a test track which was an exact replica of the M60 at night.

That's pretty impressive, given the extra weight & drag. While I'd reckon on hitting 90 at least once between London & Torbay, in either direction, it's getting too expensive, now MPG's down to low 30's. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted!

I think the extra weight made it sit lower and improved the aero! We also had a 2cv many years ago that was faster 4 up on the motorway pulling a 500wt trailer than it was 1 up unloaded.

If they are not closing (to tight) low compression.

Hard to start with clouds of white smoke when stone-cold but starts OK when warm...

It comes of the XUD quirk where the valve clearances are tightest when cold... The colder the tighter...

Yes, except that it only happens in very cold weather... Normal mornings it'll be OK...
