Isn't it just :D Love it... Now why can't all be that bright and cheerful...

It does a lovely job of cheering people up and a lovely refreshing change from the usual corporate drab liveries...

Yes, I don't do drab Chris :)

If you put the reg number into google you get loads of photos of this bus with slightly different variations of the yellow and cream livery of Northern Scottish over the years. I always liked the livery, ans was lucky that was the local buses as I was growing up here.

That went silly cheap if she's in anywhere near as good mechanical and structural health as it appears...and the impression I got from talking to the owner back in 2013.

I didnt see the owner when I saw it a couple of months ago, but it looked in good condition inside and out, and sounded great as it was driving away.

A detail, but it would me an improvement - though I doubt we'll see many cars with with retro fitted black & white plates (not even sure whether strictly legal ones are available).

That 205 van was well o-t-t, thereby proving how confused rare & uncommon are in so many people's minds.

1st jan. '75 or earlier are legally allowed to display the black and silver /white plates,
Agree its a small detail, but something that can change overall look of the car imo.

Id prefer the 2cv van! (cant spell its proper name! Aciene??) bit longer in the rear body, that said, the xantia will fit my 650b + sized mtb with the wheels on with back uprights folded down!

Acadiane! BUT, of course, that's Diane based - & Fourgonette* is even more difficult to spell.

Timmo, re B & W plates: that curious anomoly which means once vehicles become eligible for VED exemption they can retrospectively sport those plates doesn't mean you can actually get legal B & W plates. Not checked the regs. but my understanding was that it is the date the plates are fitted that determines the font AND, afaik, you can't get B & W plates in the current proscribed font.

* not specifically 2CV but perhaps the most common application, never could get the hang of 2CV van model designations.
