Random C5 X7 question.
Did the C5 X7 Tourer ever get produced in a 3.0 V6 Blue Hdi variant or were they Eolys only?

Re: Random C5 X7 question.
I don't know for sure but I'm fairly sure that the later cars were only available with either the 1.6 or 2.0 HDi engines.
For information they ALL use Eolys as this for the DPF which is the particle trap. The Blue variants introduce SCR (selective catalytic reduction) which reduces the NOx (oxides of nitrogen) and this needs urea, commonly known as AdBlue.
Both Eolys and AdBlue are consumables. Eolys should last 75,000 to 100,000 miles before a refill is needed whereas the AdBlue (in our 308 that is) needs topping up basically every oil change i.e. around 15,000 miles.

Not to my knowledge - only the 150 and 180 2.0L variants.
The Blue HDi systems have both additive for the DPF and the Adblue for the SCR system. It's not one or the other they are a combined system: From PSA...

Re: Random C5 X7 question.
Thanks. I didn't realise that it was a 2 type emissions system on the Blues
