Question to all with the knowledge,
The fitting guide as per citroen service says tighten belt to max position and rotate belt for 6 full turns and reposition to normal position.
My question refers to a you tube video of someone doing said belt and turning eccentric tensioner to normal position and turning belt around twice.
Any thoughts ?
Kenny

Re: Timing belt on C5 x 7
The initial tension isn’t particularly critical. I usually tighten to near-max for the first five turns out of habit. I assume that the only advantage to over tensioning for the first turns is to test that the various pulleys are sound.
