No, it's not. Just been to the Lidl in New Milton. An excellent one. Nothing at all tempting in the specials though...

I guess all sold out of the good stuff... Lots of tat but nothing remotely attractive enough to tempt me to part with any money..

On the upside, I got all I need for my holiday and carried it all back to the caravan in one very heavy bag... A good 1.5 mile yomp :)

My local Aldi has them in at the moment.
Bought a set a year or so ago and then a set for one of my grandsons.
Don't use them often but can't fault them for the price.

Not a car accessory precisely but in Lidl this evening I discovered Tokaji* wine - I love Tokaji Szamorodni and Tokaji Aszú but this is more down to earth white wine and sparkling white wine - not sampled yet so no judgement on it.

Do Lidl sell booze too? I have honestly never noticed it in any of their stores...

They do indeed and some of it is pretty good too.
I bought one of their single malts for my son, the Speyside, They also have Highland and Islay, reputed to come from big name sources,
He declared it quite acceptable, which at £14 is reasonable.
Aldi do similar and have won awards for theirs.

I was actually looking for something different but forgot what - still can't remember what it was either.

It is. Some is not very rewarding but a select few items excellent and very good value.

Aldi sold three months supply of their single malt and "Cromwell" gin in two days once it was mentioned in The Independent and then Facebook.
