Not sure if it was a traction avant under all the paraphernalia of the conversion, but being the Peugeot Museum I suspect not with your pic.

I suspect (from the 'badging') that it is a Peugeot 402. There is a Citroen TA with similar kit that I have seen at a local classic car meet, maybe I have a picture of that somewhere in the archive.

The 100 mph dolt from Sunday on the A48. Got it on video but this is just a frame from it.

That's very inconsiderate of that driver - those lanes are normally reserved just for Audi drivers :rofl2:

:-D Actually there's a right turn there and the hatches are to protect the ass of those waiting to turn, there have been a number of fatalities at similar places along the road, he would have had no chance of stopping had someone been there.

I think you could build [fake news]9 of the 10 Hinkleys required to power the nation to 100% electric car/bus/train/lorry/bike coverage[/fake news], in that little corner of Cumbria and no one would know they were there! :-D

You missed the roll-over of the total forum post count (at the bottom of the main forum page) at 500,000 which happened some time in the last 48 hours. I easily can't determine what the actual 500,000th post was because the post_id numbering is about 50,000 higher (due to deleted posts and previous administrative actions).

[edit] Making a couple of assumptions, the 500,000th post was probably viewtopic.php?f=3&t=22314&p=546199#p546199

Wonderfully abstract! especially viewed with no context.

I'll reproduce it here to see if someone can be inspirational and creative and hopefully not literal because the actual meaning of it as posted in the original thread although no doubt informative and correct will be the least interesting answer :-D

Its a bit like e=mc2 but what could it be the formula for?

Here it is, we will declare it the 500,000th post and accept the assumptions which selected it,
What about the C5 reworks? 194 > 207 then 211
Nothing has sprung to mind yet for me....but it's early days
Any images spring from the words/phrases/numbers/symbols?

...here's me on another random link...that white bridge in the video is in Chepstow; and it has featured on POTD, and it's absolutely gorgeous...

This picture is one of the best I have seen of it....

But here's an old one which carries a bit of interest too.
