I've narrowed mine down to four. First up a 79 V plate Fiat Mirafiori 2.0 Twin Cam. Rot box? Yeah! Box of fun? Definitely! That 2.0 engine was absolutely astonishing. Not many survive and the good ones are at least £10k.
The second is the 75 N plate Wolseley 2200 (Think posh Princess). Gorgeous creamy straight six with all the toys of the time. I've been looking for one of these for the past four years without success, they are that rare.
Third is my first ever car. Cost me £50 and the bloke I bought it from asked me if I was interested in the Lotus version, but I just couldn't afford it

So I bought the 69 G plate Ford Cortina 1.6GT. 1600E's fetch good money nowadays but the original 1.6GT with the clocks above the dash are seriously rare.
And lastly is the Volvo 164. I thought I had exactly the same car last year, a 70 H plate manual overdrive with twin Stromberg's. Needed a full job on it but I was certainly up for it. But the owner played silly buggers. It's still there, sat in a lock-up, and he still has no intention of doing owt with it. Shame!
