From time to time I get very interested in a motorhome, but am often stopped in my tracks by what I see as ridiculous asking prices for very old vehicles.
The Romahome is definitely the type of thing I would be interested in, whether based on the C15/Visa or the Berlingo, particularly the Hilo variant of either, but you certainly pay a considerable excess over what the base vehicle is worth, for the privelege of standing up, using a tiny cooker, and tiny sink, but granted being able to stretch out and sleep in relative comfort anywhere you choose.
Here's one I won't be looking at. The base vehicle is a 17 year old non turbo charged diesel Berlingo with 220,000 miles...value got to be well less than £450, I'd say barely above scrap value if truth be told. So for the other gubbins the owner is expecting another £7,500.

No for cheap "take your accomodation with you" motoring has to be a cheap towcar and a little second hand caravan which will have more space/ better facilities, and you'll have plenty choice £700-£1200 for something decent.
Match the colour scheme of the tow car and the caravan and it could even look cool and turn heads!!!
