I did buy a drill stand last Monday and am reasonably pleased with it.

It is fatal going in there though - three times I have gone in for bread and milk and spent upwards of £60. Last Friday and Monday and this evening.
Did the same in Aldi too :(

Absolutely.

Good job IKEA is a pain to get to, despite being only five miles away.

Bought mini spinner screwdrivers from aldi, they do not ratchet like you would expect when looking at the pack so don't buy them if you want ratcheting ones. Also our plumber bought the £10 ratchet spanners, they are very good and well worth buying. I went to get some tonight but they were all gone.

Agreed, but their pickled herring is a little too sweet for my taste; prefer the larger rolled pieces from Tesco/Sainsbury/Asda =P~ .

On Friday I saw this combo in the lidl car park. Obviously going to be loaded up with the hardware specials...

It would be a brave man who brakes heavily when fully loaded, not to think about a wet road.

I very much doubt it is... I know motorbikes can legally tow trailers but there must be a set of regulations as to braking requirements and weights...

Even when empty I reckon that trailer weighs more than the scooter...

Nobody knows! I have that on the authority of a driving examiner, who have to be well versed in such matters - because they never know what people might turn up for tests on & they HAVE to be legal.

This is in France, where the abominable Sans Permis cars can be driven by those who have lost their licence for drunk driving. I once saw a Sans Permis being driven into the LIDL car park (back on topic?) by someone so drunk that they missed the car park entrance by 10 metres and entered the car park across the footpath and a garden.
