I love the Austin 'County' by the side of it Kev :D Is that a Devon or a Somerset?

The lady looks very comfy and relaxed!

That's brilliant Kev! Who knows they may have even nicked the real one. It hasn't been seen by a single one of 12,000 plus French Car Forum members over the last couple of years! :-D

I think if I had been at the Show I would have subjected the set designers to a bit of interested but forensic questioning!

Back in those days Steve, there were curtain social rules to observe - such as never slouching in a deckchair in a slovenly manner ;)

She's upholding that rule a treat :D

I've no idea!

The car to the left, there was a mannequin with its legs sticking out from under the car, that one looked much more realistic!

It's a Someset, there was no Devon convertible - if for no other reason than the 2-door Dorset would have been the better basis for one. BUT think the coachbuilt Jensen "A40 Sport" might've been Devon/Dorset based.

Surely not Johnshaven, Davie. We have actually been there on a little tour when we were on holiday. We went specifically to visit this little shop

http://www.starfishstudio.co.uk/

But the AA certainly didn't have that lisred on the 19 remaining boxes,

This is probably where it was originally sited on streetview

https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@56.78702 ... 312!8i6656

so I guess its in a transport museum somewhere.

This could be a good guess

Am I close?

Very close I think

Thanks Davie I love a little delve to find out stuff, thanks for posting it up with a puzzle to solve. For me much more interesting than " I saw an AA box at Grampian Transport Museum!"

I know at least one small boy who would love the "Junior Driving School". Great idea!
