It's the Army Rumour Service - Steve mentioned it a few posts earlier:

The reference to Freshly Drawn Water is in this film on tea making - which is still as relevant today as it was when it was made over 75 years ago. It should be essential viewing

On Thursday (08/06) Lidl are doing some DIY bits, including an inspection camera system:

Interesting . I haven't a burning desire to see what horrors lurk down the plughole but I'm sure there are plenty of possibilities for further exploration. :rofl2:

That camera could be very useful for inspecting pistons/cylinders through spark plug/injector holes. Could save having to remove the cylinder head.

I got one last time, as thought it might be useful doing the cambelt, but never even unpacked it. However, I don't think it's THAT small. Will come in handy for checking fuses in the Cherokee, which otherwise means kneeling in the road, draped over the driver's door sill, effectively looking over your right shoulder, standing on your head in the driver's footwell or removing the front seats &, probably, the centre console & lying across the resultant space (of course it's even more difficult on RHD models - because the pedals are where your head needs to be!) That's probably why the horn doesn't work on the red one.

Although it is not Aldi or Lidl, Asda are doing their own brand of oil at £13 for 5L.

Reputed to be rebranded Comma oil.

It is rebranded Comma oil, as is Halford's own brand. The only difference I can see in the "standard" oils from both, is the price.

Not seen anything in Asda but 20/50 for, must be, years, so that must be worth a looksee. (I suspect the red Cherokee must be due for an oil change - & I don't think I've got enough of anything heavy enough).

Of course Comma's not been a budget brand for some time now - still cheaper than Halfords' though!

They have, on the packaging, a text number. If you text your registration to the number it should reply with the right oil for that car.
