With both the C5 and the 308 I was contacted by the sellers asking me if I was definitely coming to collect the car (after leaving a deposit) as they had people who were really interested in buying it.
I don't think they were spinning a yarn either as we had already agreed prices in both cases and weren't asking me for any more money. It's comforting that both sellers didn't renege on me and sell the cars under my feet, so to speak.
