Have one of these (similar) on order - I suspect they may not be very accurate but will compare with a DVM.
Have seen them in the past and ignored them as a gimmick.

I was gassed at work today (again) and had to sit in my car for half an hour before risking the drive home, engine running as it was only 1.5°C.
Noticed that the voltmeter rose and fell periodically. Possibly the secondary heater coming on and off.
Will be interesting to compare with the USB meter.

A very long story but due to exposure to methyl isocyanate in the adhesive we use I have become extremely sensitive to aldehydes - so tobacco smoke, many synthetic fragrances and in particular Lynx, laundry products especially fabric conditioners.

Makes life very difficult and one of my colleagues anoints himself and his clothes in pongy stuff, I miss a lot of workdays, completely trashed for the day.

They bought me an activated charcoal mask - I had the rest of the day off.
Something in the mask was worse than without it.

Spent years undergoing tests in hospital, nothing works.

Legal comeback - possibly. There was no risk assessment done, the product and many of the solvents we use were completely unmarked and there was no COSHH data - took me six weeks and had to contact the adhesive manufacturer directly, which pleased management no end.
They should have responded when I requested the COSHH data in the first place.

Products are marked now with skull & crossbones, a huge "X" and warnings that it can cause breathing problems. Wonderful!

Steve, I really feel for you, knowing how sensitive I am to smells due to my sense of smell being hyper. All perfumes and many other smells and gases make me feel sick.

In fact some actually do. One notable one is the stench from nicotine chewing gum. I have lost a so-called friend as a result of me throwing up and her refusal to not chew in my company - she's more addicted to the gum than the fags she gave up!

I detest fags but their smoke at least doesn't make me sick!

Women's perfume I find repulsive and fabric conditioner too!

Mine is a part of my ME. Many things come along for the ride and that's just one of them along with myriad food sensitivities and intolerances to name but a few...

You'd have thought, like my friend, that your colleague would appreciate what effect his pongy stuff has on you. Very inconsiderate.

I ONLY use 3M filters and masks, I have a mouth/nose one and a Full Face depending on the paint I use, but only ever 3M filters.

I use JSP which I think are equally good. The problem with 3m for me is they don't fit my face.

Aldi have 100 roses for twenty five quid.
Useful for mollifying disgruntled partners

In my experience it'll disgruntle them terribly if they get to know they came from Aldi

Flowers are only good when bought at great expense from a pukka florist and delivered in a florally bedecked small van ;)

Maybe if I'd have learned that sooner I'd still be married

My wife was always appreciative of the thought and not the price or source.

For her funeral she just wanted wildflowers picked from the hedgerows.

Expensive stuff never impressed her one bit.

But if that was the only way she would accept flowers would you WANT to be still married to her?
