Peugeot 206 driverside driveshaft?

Peugeot 206 driverside driveshaft?

I am having a problem with getting the drivers side drive shaft will only go in so fair any help

Where the centre support bearing is, there's 2 eccentric bolts that you would have loosened and turned through 180* to release the bearing on removal. First things first would be to make sure one or both of them haven't turned back round and blocked progress. Also I found, during the clutch job on our 1.4HDi that, if there's any corrosion/dirt in the bearing housing this can obstruct it too. This assumes you've compared old and new and the spline pattern is definitely correct. Hope this helps.

I read the OPs post as having problems getting the drive shaft back in. Perhaps he could confirm one way or the other.
As I get older I think a lot about the hereafter - I go into a room and then wonder what I'm here after.

I concur. Is the problem fitting the shaft into the diff housing or is the problem the shaft itself will not move through the bearing housing ?

I'd suspect the latter (may need to clean the housing a little if the bolts are not in the way) the former is quite rare I think for the pinions to move out of mesh and jam. Not impossible but not common.
