Mike, I don't go near the blue cylinder. Look again to the left of the heater matrix elbow and if you look very carefully you’ll see the master cylinder reservoir! I can understand the confusion because it is so hard to see and the blue cylinder (which is a strictly one-time connector) is so visible.
Reason I ask is that activa1 (the flaking, algae ridden MK1 Dante Red activa) had a new complete hydraulic system including that blue thing as a condition of sale by me when I bought it, the pedal was on the floor and the guy selling didn't want to fix. What exactly is that little blue cylinder (just wondering the signifiance of it's colour that's all).
