Xantia - Differences between rear suspension cylindres

Unread post by lancia58 »

Hi,

What is the differences between the various rear suspension cylinders in particular the following:

5272 53
5272 22.

I can find both at Citroen.Service and know to which model each one fits, but just wander what are the differences ? In general why Citroen has to produce different suspension cylinders ( front and rear ) for different models ?

Thanks
Zohar

Estate and hatchback have different cylinder bores. Hydractive has bigger pipe fittings. And Citroën changed the design of the pipe fitting at least once.
