good luck
at one point tonight I had to identify myself as the repairer.. my service location was 'the farm' god knows what that will cause me in the future..
Yes - not sure whether that codes the name of the 'Technician' and the 'Garage' to a Diagbox log or to the BSI itself and keeps a record of who did what!!! That will be interesting next time you are in the main dealers and they tell you they didn't know they had a new 'Eco' dealership on your Farm, not that they have renamed their 'Technicians' to the 'Repair Men'!
I did see during another session when I was clearing some fault logs, there was a message saying there was storage for 50 'something or others' - but can't remember now.

you would think messing about on a laptop doing stuff is an easy way to fix the car

but its cold and takes ages with no result and the whole process is filled with anxiety!
Oh definitely agree with that - anxiety levels through the sunroof (if I had one) when deciding - "shall I hit confirm? - No, better not - let's go back and check all the options again" - then "perhaps not, maybe I should take
another print out of all the configuration pages as I'm not sure if the last printout has the wrong or right configuration"... and so on and so forth!!
That's what happened to me after another telecoding session - cured one problem and then lost my welcome driver's function, so when I came to get in the car for a trip, opened door and my seat refused to move up to the driving position - a quick check and the damned menu option was missing again! Put me in a bad mood until I got back then out with the laptop again! I'm hoping all the C5 telecoding bugs have gone in this version 8 now - I guess we'll find out in the morning... groan.
