Bluetooth Paired But No Sound Coming Out Of The Speakers.
Hello there
I recently brought an used 2011 C5 Tourer. Its amazing car. Problem is when I pair my phone via bluetooth I am getting no sound from the radio speakers except the radio on air music. I mean music is not lowering and radio does not switching to the bluetooth device, call or anything. I can make calls via controls, list the numbers on the phone etc but no sound coming from the bluetooth. Radio just playing regular on air music. I have tried 3 different phones and same thing happens.
Please advise.
Thanks.

Which nav unit do you have? Unless it is eMyWay (RT6), or the latest one with the 2015 cars no other has audio streaming, just the phone function ...
Edit: I gave you half an answer (reading from the phone) ... ... which mobile OS are we talking about? Is the sound muted by chance on the nav unit?

Hello,
Thanks for the fast reply. I have no navigation, only LCD screen. I can chose between audio streaming and telephone functions. Everything works except radio doesnt switch to the phone/streaming, it does only continue playing radio...

They are a bit temperamental.
It hates both iPhone and android.
It should work if that's any help.
If I want to stream music I find it works better to start playing on the phone then press the source button (if radio on)
Incoming calls work on mine. And it's more reliable using the phone button to make a call. Ignore Siri or other voice control.
If you press the phone button on steering wheel can you select people's phone numbers?

Hello,
Yes I can make call via button on the steering wheel. My only problem is that beside music from radio station I can here no other sound. It seems that car audio doesn't switch to the call or the streaming music.
Thanks

By the way I tried playing music on my LG G3 while connected and I cant hear the sound on the phone (which means that phone is pushing music to the bluetooth). Then I tried to push the source button on the radio but nothing happens.

I'm at a loss.
I assume you have tried deleting the pairing and starting again?

Hey,
exactly, only thing that I haven't tried is resetting the audio unit. I have read somewhere on the forums that it can help but I don't know how to reset it.

Re: Bluetooth Paired But No Sound Coming Out Of The Speakers.
Today I visited official Citroen service and they connected it to service diagnostic system and they found nothing wrong with the radio unit. They also tried older Bluetooth phone and same situation happened. So I am still confused.

Press the mute button on the steering wheel:
Or check your phone to make sure the mute has not been enabled there / or in airplane mode.
