Well its not a Monaco, its a Baccara in black cherry and up for sale on e-bay at the moment with a pretty comprehensive descriptionZelandeth wrote:One of the few cars which looks good to me in "brown" according to the reg document, was my Renault 25 Monaco.
Though really, it wasn't brown. It was bronze.
That I thought suited the car very well. ...Not that I really cared what it looked like outside, given how comfortable it was inside!

Re: Classic for under £10K-what would be nice?
Nice Thames van on the One Show tonight
In 1958 Ford put together this little film as a promotion for the Thames. Slightly annoying tune but really sold the benefits to me and if you could produce them today for under £10,000 I would be first in the queue
And here's one on CarandClassic for £9,500
regards Neil

That 25 is lovely. Have to admit though that I prefer the look of the Mk I cars, and thought the leather padding in the Monaco looked better than the wood.
...if I had the space and money though, I'd have that in a heartbeat!

I've had two R25's both manual V6 with the 2.5 turbo engine, very nice cars indeed.
