Spent the day with wires, soldering gun, heat shrink, split-tube and loom tape. I have cleaned and shielded WAY too may cable runs today....aggggggg, half the plastic split cable covers are just cracking into small pieces...crap stuff.

Used hardly any adhesive insulation tape at all today, and that which I did use I covered in loom tape....the new black adhesive loom tape I ordered recently is wonderful to wrap with and with its ends secured with heat-shrink and any breakouts taped and cable ties to secure made a result I an happy with.

New Fuel/Shock cut out switch fitted, the old one had been by-passed by cutting off the connector (thanks again Green Goblin for the replacement switch and connector) and joining them together....ummm, safe !
FYI.....The old switch rattled when shaken, the replacement did not.

No oil of water leaks after yesterdays change.

The Peugeot bush IS DIFFERENT.
Details of the two Bush's, why the NARROW outer Tube on the original Citroen Ram Bush ?
Total width is exactly the same

Note: the inner tube on the Citroen Bush has been pushed over to one side to show the inner "lip" of this item.

You can see how thin the rubber is here, ?? how this design would last more than a very short time is hard to know :)

You can have it sent to me if it helps. BTW I think CEE is the frenh version of EEC, not a reference to eastern Europe.

Cheers....I will let you know what he says....I have PM'ed you the link to the vendor....it will be nice to have an original to copy from.

CEE.....agh.....and I thought it may be "standardised" EU speak.

Sticky, that part above (405911) is available directly from Citroen & Peugeot for £11.59 including VAT before you haggle any discount!

How much is the one you've found?

The ad has been removed, I hope you got it. I have had a few failures trying to buy parts (and a car) from LBC recently.
