Remember them, looked well smart. Drove the one on the left once too. It's now down in the Bath area apparently - still in that livery! Saw it on the M4 back in October when we were down there and did a major double take when I spotted it! Other one is in Glasgow now I think along with quite a few of the B10BLE's. Replaced with 'orrible flimsy Wright Streetlites.
Current fleet:

They're not so bad here for that Addo. Now, they do it with Fire Engines and Ambulances but not buses. Should run the little s**t over..

Re: Tax-exempt classic for under £10K-what would be nice?
Odd the Volvo went so cheap, they seem to hold their value pretty well these days in decent nick (Mercs are the same), hence why I've never had one. 240 is on the wish list.

Not me. I'm a heathen when it comes to these things. I think they are awfully ugly.

Re: Tax-exempt classic for under £10K-what would be nice?
The no reserve bit on the auction has the potential of a few genuine bargains sneaking through, and I expect the SM will be well over my modest limit! First up are the motorbikes on Wednesday this week. I would have a few off the list but are any going to go through on my £100 max bid?
probably not this one
or this
but maybe this

Brightwells offer a facility to watch the auctions on-line even if not registered for on-line bidding.
Watch Sale

Watch Sale
Curiosity may well have me clicking the link when the sale starts at 12 noon on Wednesday.Online Bidding
To use and register for online bidding, please go to the Classic Vehicles sale homepage at http://www.brightwells.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and select the Online Bidding icon. Online bidding registration will be open from 9am on the Thursday prior to the auction day. We will ask you for a deposit of £5,000 UK Sterling in order to register to bid online (refundable on the day after the auction if you do not purchase).
The sale will be live approximately 30 minutes before the auction. There will be video and audio, but we advise you to follow the speed of bids in the bidding box, rather than the auctioneer’s voice. Internet bids are accepted by the auctioneer (not the online bidding clerk), to avoid conflict with room, telephone or absentee bids. If your bid is not accepted and the bidding is still live, bid again. If you win a lot, an online bidding surcharge of 1% plus VAT will applied to the hammer price. The normal buyer’s premium of 10% plus VAT will also still be charged to the hammer price.
If you would like to view the sale live online without bidding, please go to the Classic Vehicles sale homepage at http://www.brightwells.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and select the Watch the Sale icon. This is a free service.
regards Neil

Stondon Motor Museum had a red DS Decap hidden out the back, I never established whether it was a genuine Chapron but it certainly was rusty in places, might be one to look out for
