Eating in a particularly good French restaurant last evening we counted a very healthy number of Xantias, albeit quite battle scarred, running around Paris....

Of all the older Citroen we saw, by far the most numerous....

Top visit then :)......one thing I noticed on my trip South the other week was how few C5's there were, esp the X7, just did not see many.

A boot full of Cheeeeeese and Wine (and a glove box of rare parts from the museum) :)

As fitted to a S1 light box, they fit even easier, and will need only minor mods to get them 100% stable.

Cheers on the lights guys...its a fiddle with something late at night job !.............. :)

Update on my leaking Activa Ram....
Top joint off and ram dropped free, bellows gaiter off (see the damage).
The top seal, as Jim said is the cause of the fluid loss and thankfully the ram is not damaged.
I will also Need a Lower Ram bush, anyone know the size as I have to get one made I think......

?? Does the base of the metal sleeve (its flaired skirt) fit into a grove formed into the leak-off ring to form a seal ?? ?

Any reason why an Adhesive(*)seal with a suitable mastic could not be used/made or does it need to decompress the void when the ram compresses by venting.

It seems to me that there would be compression of the air within the sleeve as the Ram contracts if the sleeve is sealed at the skirt, how does that inner void normally vent/equalise

EDIT:....There IS a pressure vent hole in the Gaiter,
