peugeot 806 turbo

hi if anyone could help me
I have a very battered 806 2,0 hdi gtx (but would not change it!!)
over the last few months the turbo seems to be getting louder
I think I need to change it could anyone tell me if this turbo is the same as fitted to other Peugeot/citroen models
and how easy is it to change

I found the most cause of noise with this was a split boost hose (there's one right at the back underneath) and / or issues with some of the inlet pipework.

Is it really noisy ? It will be the same unit fitted to the 406 and possibly late 306. Bear in mind I think there's at least two manufacturers, and you need to match it up if possible.

It may be a pig to change on an 806 though due to limited space, a H/G is quite annoying on these.
