Converted my c5 hdi 2.0 110bhp from auto to manual, have som

Unread post by zolo74 »

Hi there, converted my C5 to manual, i red a lot about that process but in BMW and more exotic cars. For now, all runs great but few small problems, i saw that there is some clutch pedal switch that i am missing. And may be because of that, when i try to switch gears fast, each time i press clutch engine revs jumps up instead of staying on same place or start dropping a bit. My guess is that exactly switch that tells the ecu that i had pressed the clutch pedal.
I looked everywhere near my pedals and there is no such connector female to put the switch.
Can any one help me out and point out where should this switch connect?

I must notice that in lexia all set to manual and i have no faults at all.
Ecu had not been remapped to manual in any way yet ( and i guess i don't have to do that at all)

I think the clutch switch is just for the fitment of cruise control and its some other issue causing the over rev

I am pretty out of clues because i had a Xsara Hdi manual gear before and the revs fallen faster, like right after i left the gas pedal, i tested few c5 Hdi here and all of them was automatic and all of them behave the same. The has does not fall right after i leave the pedal. This is not a problem It seems more like an automatic car converted to manual.. [emoji12]

I want some one to find me a diagram where should i connect the clutch switch to the harness because i have no free plugs around the pedals.

By the way, is this the same pin that leads to automatic gear pin unlock?

I dont know, but I think its linked to the brake switch. But you could measure that with a multimeter
