myself and another lad bought a Fix or rust daily prefect from the car sales man at Palmarsh garage near Hythe kent back in the early 70's
we payed £25 squide for it,
then we cut the body off down to the floor pans, then cut it in half from one side to the other, shortened it by about a foot prop shaft an all, then welded what was left back together,
then we hacked it round the waste ground at the back of the garage
