There's a '66 ID19 on LBC for €1800 - doesn't get much better.

and here it is. It's located at Saint-Mandrier-sur-mer, which looks like a little penninsula that juts out into the Mediterranean near Toulon. Be a nice trip just to kick the tyres!

Tax exempt? Well it is good to get a free disc through the post.......I had them for years with Land Rovers.
However, will it become unimportant? There does look to be movement on putting the VED on fuel. After the election I think it could happen. Revenue on VED has dropped big time.

This is the one I really want but to be tax exempt it'll have to wait a bit until the new regs come in as it was first made in 1973.

One of these... Love them dearly... But they dearly love to rust as they were made by a French Missile maker and they didn't ever need to worry about rust on a missile..

Shame they had a rattly old Simca engine :(

I think you'd be OK for tax exempt with the Bagheera ( at least one of the earlier ones).

Tax exemption is from 40 years so OK up to an early 75 car.

You may be in luck Jim. Not quite within the constraints of the thread but it is comfortably under £10,000-listed at 3900 euros, and 47,000 km on the clock and described as "superbe"

Image

I presume "joints de frein allumage et 1 vitre électrique à revoir particulier" means a bit of minor tinkering may be necessary but not a deal breaker!

for just a bit more you could have a yellow one (listed at 6500 euros)

This is the only Caravelle I have found currently on Leboncoin which meets the criteria a 1964 example listed at 7500 euros but its very grey!

Image

This is more the type of thing I have in my imagination, albeit this example being the Caravelle's alter ego the Floride. I like a bit of colour!

Honest John has a nice little search tool on his Classics for sale page.

Most link through to Car and Classic.

Look what I found-1974 listed at £2500 "Citr-on" yellow no less with a black vinyl roof!

Image

and an Austin 3-litre 1971 in blackberry with a grey interior for £7500

Image

and I know this colour very well-Damask Red-because we had a Landcrab in the same colour. This one is 1973 and £3,995.
