I've got a shedful of jobs needing doing ... two activas both off road, one in Dante Red needing an engine leak identified and fixing alongwith a roof and bonnet respray ... it'll never happen. Second activa needs the works ...
both rams leak, abs light us on and i doubt if she'll see a road again. Oh ... and a v6 needing a heater matrix! So ... not a lot to be getting on with eh!

Purely to make it look shiny and new again ? ...or are you currently driving a mildly shortened C5 in need of some front end repairs ?

Shiny and new ... the bonnet looks like it came from a war zone, hundreds of small scratches and marks on the paint you can see and feel with your hand, but what bothers me more is that the clear coating dissolved between the chevrons and started to do the same on the front bumper, so I want the car to look better that it currently does

I don't like to think about it all that much.
Something along the lines of droplinks and sort the hydractive on red. Clutch and cambelt to get things rolling with green.

Have DONE a few items as noted above.macAU wrote:Where do I start? ...
C3 'la petit Citroën' clutch pedal goes to the floor with nothing happening - have to pull apart to see what is no longer connecting
DS BVH suspect fuel pump not supplying fuel at sufficient pressure - fit an electric, low pressure, fuel pump (got a new fuel pump - YET to fit it)
D Super 5 needs radiator hoses replaced (DONE) plus replace water pump (DONE) which has a small amount of 'slop' present in the shaft - Now waiting on new radiator mounts before putting it back together
CX Familiale needs the steering (pull to left) sorted so that I can have it inspected and registered (DONE - steering column loosened, moved two splines, reattached and fine adjustment made) Had initial inspection done, obtained engineers certificate, re-inspected passed and now registered - Drove 120km on Friday, stopped in a loading zone outside PO, when wife returned car refused to start. No pulse at injectors so seems like a sensor fault. Spent night on tray top before being dropped at auto electricians yesterday for more specific diagnosis on Monday!
CX Pallas needs similar attention to steering and a few rusty spots, under the trim, on the rails below the doors, rectified.
As I've been fully engaged with an addition to the local museum - I'm one of the few members with a pulse - and then have additions to the local machinery restoration group shed coming up I can't see me getting to them in the short term. If I was getting paid for the building I'd be able to pay someone to sort the cars

Re: What jobs does your car need in 2015 for you to be happy
A little rust treatment in one rear door shut, perhaps stone chip the rear arches, make the airbag light go out, track down an undertray, sort out keys to make the remote locking work, I did the ABS sensor last week following the guide on here, quite easy really, and the £7.50 ABS sensor works just fine, theres a clunk when taking up drive that might be the dogbone, needs investigation.
BXs since 1993 built 1.9 TZD turbo, got a S2 Xantia estate, brilliant car! 2013, Xantia HDI LX 110 2000 new car with 122,000, l C2 HDI Rusty rocket, C3 Picasso HDI new to me.
