That's excellent Davie, I deep cleaned my house as a prelude to returning to part-time work. I was horrified at how bad it had got when I was ill..

Returning to work part-time will be good and I consider essential to general wellbeing, especially mental. I could retire but to be honest I don't want to. I have achieved a nice work-life balance with my part-time work and get the best of both... I still enjoy my work.

Part-time is the way to go. Don't even consider full time whatever may be offered. Going part-time was the best move I ever made and once the girls are self-supporting I'll be going slightly less part-time...

Adam, I like that a lot and I get the gist of it too. You are a very thoughtful and caring person :-D

hope you get a blow torch for your B day to aid you with your aging rusty nuts/bolts , a most important addition to your growing tool kit

minimum it needs to be butane propane capable, better still MAP gas powered

Thanks Gents.

Oh well, that was a bust. I managed to get the three shield bolts out (I had to drill out the ones by the calliper, fortunately I have longer bolts to replace them, with washers and nuts), but the one holding the sensor is also trying to shear, despite a load of Plus Gas (mind you, I cannot spray it at both points where it goes into the arm, as the sensor is in the way). It looks like I will have to remove that sphere so I can drill out that bolt as well. I couldn't face doing that on my birthday!

Well, if I win the Lottery tonight (and I mean a useful amount!) I will start looking for an Activa! Mind you, I have got to get a replacement 4mm HSS drill bit, as I just snapped mine drilling out one of the seized bolts.

Mum got me a replacement wishbone for Gracie, as the P bush was shot on it, while Alex got me a ball joint and heat shield for her (but he said he will something for ME for my birthday!).

I have fitted the second wishbone (the one Mum paid for), but I have yet to fit the ball joint (to the off side hub carrier), as (although I had it at the time) I did not want to put upon Malcolm any further.

Great evening out with my twin brothers (well, at their place) Jay, Lee, and his girlfriend Rosie. Home made Steak and Ale Pie and great company. What better way to round off a birthday evening?

I'm sure myself or a presently retiring member could offer some fairly red-blooded suggestions! :P

I occasionally have a smoke on my birthday so
I would only suggest James goes to the tobacconist in Harris Arcade in Reading and gets a good rough shag.
