If you get one I may have need of it, as Gracie has sheared one bolt holding her O/S/R heat shield on, and a second trying to follow it!

Don't know how good they are;

thanks for the input James but im talking the bolts that there head are intended to shear on fitting "shear bolts" ( diesel pump imobaliser armour type of thing ), you are then left with a tapered head i usually drift these undone with a center punch, when/if you can get near enough to the little BBBBBBB's

Malcolm, what you need is a set of inverse flute sockets

Try a set of these babies :-D

Others are available...

I have a set and they work well...

That works a treat too Richard, especial when the above won't fit due to space and access issues...

ok thanks for all the input,
but this time i resorted to a 4.5 inch angel grinder with a very worn/small diameter cutting disc,an air cut of grinder, a center punch, a small chisel and an ammer,

this operation was performed on a Preg NA diesel ZX with a Bosch pump,

and Jim
i firstly removed all the injector pipes and sealed all the pump outlet and injector inlets with gaffer tape :-D :wink:

i should have it all back together and running tomorrow
