Well, it wasn't to be.......Coupé is still at the garage, apparently there's some sort of spike that needs to be mapped out....... double Dutch to me :? ...... so it's looking more like Monday or Tuesday before I pick her up.

I feel a bit like a kid at Christmas, I want my toy.....

The spike is their language likely to mean there is an overfuel for some reason at one point in the rev range. It does sometimes happen during LPG mapping as they basically copy the running of the original ECU as best they can and just advance the injections of fuel to take into account the length of pipe to the nozzles.

Shouldn't be a big problem but would be nice to see what power it has on high octane petrol and what it has on LPG as they should ideally map on a rolling road first and then a few road tests to get a good coverage of normal cruising driving :)

Excellent Steve :-D

Enjoy the interview and we'll be all watching the news tomorrow for reports of a driver caught exceeding the speed of sound in a black Peugeot on the M6...

It'll be interesting to see if you can detect any difference when switching from petrol to gas. If it's like the installation in your V6 Xantia there will be none and that is an excellent sign.

Looking forward to more news...

Thank Jim, from the bit of driving this morning there appears to be even less, possibly because of it being a manual and me having to "learn" how to drive one again......

One thing I have noticed is there is a very small flat spot when taking off from a standing start, but it's nothing I can't anticipate, after all the C6 has turbo lag.....

As for speed, well, let's just say the term "motoring" could be utilized ......

It will be driven with the same standard, as Jim drives his "weekend" car.

And with that the "case for the prosecution rests m'lud"

In that case Steve, if you want to be in Crewe tomorrow you'd better leave your place yesterday...
