@CitroJim - After all these years, guess what I found?
Hey, do you remember me reporting back to you after collecting the Actia Diag2000 I won on ebay and we found it was missing the all-important connectors and all the consequent faffing around getting the pinouts so I could make my own?
Well I just stumbled across this pic of storage I never knew existed
and guess what I found in mine?

Mike
you only had to ask as i have still taking up space/dust in my workshop a DIAG 2000 with a selection of leads/connectors,
i have tried to sell it on ebay a couple of times with no real interest,
have you looked in the other side Mike as theres another slide out storage compartment there

Re: @CitroJim - After all these years, guess what I found?
No, I have the blue Peugeot Diag2000 version. I found the two right side cables as depicted in the photo but not sure I have the left-side one. Did you find any surprises in yours, Mike?superloopy wrote:Dont tell me those were yours all along?
I've got one of those ... time to open it up eh ...
I'm pretty sure I did ask way back when, I'm sure I did. Maybe not you specifically Malc but it's a moot point now unless you have the left-most cable you don't want? What I could do with is a way to re-install Lexia2 as mine's now corrupted. I have CD37 (and I think an earlier version) but can't figure out how to load/install it.citronut wrote:Mike

maybe you have all/some of the drop out box's/cables as well
i had a citrojim convert one of my DIAG 2000's to a DIS--LEXIA2, he striped it down to its chassis and instaled a laptop hard drive loaded with DIS--LEXIA softwareMikeT wrote:

IIRC, Jim also ghosted the Lexia2 image to a laptop drive I provided but I'm darned if I can find a copy of that image.citronut wrote:[url]superloopy wrote:i had a citrojim convert one of my DIAG 2000's to a DIS--LEXIA2, he striped it down to its chassis and instaled a laptop hard drive loaded with DIS--LEXIA software

Re the cables, seems I jumped the gun and the new-found four are still not the main global test cables - malcolm, you still offering to give me yours?
And as if "The Tao" wasn't done mocking me... (me, the one who is quick to admonish those who fail to RTFM before asking for my time to help) I only found in the back of the Diag handbook a full pinout guide to the two main cables.

Aww shucks, never mindcitronut wrote:sorry Mike it wernt an offer i was saying if you had asked i could have told you about those slide out cubbyholes,

I don't really need it but would good to have the main car OBD -> Diag D-way (two-part I think) as a backup as my DIY version is not built to last like the originals.
Re: @CitroJim - After all these years, guess what I found?
you have the section of the OBD 16 pin D on the right of your picy Mike, you just need its mate that connects it the machine, i will check see if i have a spare
