I've seen a Focus with the 1.8 TDCi Lynx engine where the bloke didn't service it for 4 years. The oil had turned to jelly in it when we tried to drain the oil from the sump. We had to put a heat gun under the sump to melt the oil for 2 hours before anything would even come out.
