Can anyone give me a heads up on just how this pipe is hanging on!

Mike, the pipe is now held by the turbo coolant pipes that run under and are clipped to the ally pipe.

They're a ***** to remove. If I recall they're one is help with 10mm nuts and the other bu 16mm stand-offs. Put a mirror under and all will become clear..

bonnet dropped and that's it for a while

i hope you didnt dent the bonnet as it hit you on the head

Mike, did you free both pipes both ends...

Don't forget you also need to undo the oil feed into the top of the turbo and disconnect the water inlet to the turbo before you can pull the ally pipe clear.

The oil feed pipe I think is 17mm and the water pipe has a rubber elbow that can be disconnected..

Keep going, you're within a scantling of getting the job done...

Maybe this could help a bit... TCT engine from behind. I'm afraid I don't have any pictures when everything was assembled...

Just remove the engine, everything is easy then!

Great news Mike! Well done!

Draining and bleeding an Activa is easy. There's a brass bleeder on the cylinder head near the thermostat, a tyre-type valve on the thermostat housing itself and one on the heater matrix pipe.

Open all those when filling and run up the engine until they bubble out and run clear. Close them. Then run up to temperature topping up as needed and laving the expansion cap off all the time.

When up to temperature, open all of them again and bleed out any air. Make sure the heater is working.

Leave the cap off the tank until cool again and them top-up if necessary.
