2.0 hdi xantia won't fire

The flicking speedo and rev counter is NOT a jump lead connection problem, its a Flat battery issue!

Jump leads on xantias is not as critical then newer cars. connect both up with engines off..

is there two types of fuel pressure regulator...as looking for one and see one has a hole on the end and one has a point?

just to clarify thou apart from the xantia a 306 406 any other vehicles i can look at?

I tried jumping the wife's 106 with my HDI and since then I've had an air bag light on. No more jump starts on or from mine.

Well, im in your boat now Taffy!

Tonight on the way out of a round a bout my car cut out!

Managed to get her going, but now shes taking up to 40 turns before she fires rather then 5 as useual...

Happend the night I decide not to take Lexi home with me, so wont know till tomorrow now!

Cant remember now, the pump I got off ebay..

No Ive not got a link, it was ages ago, Id have to go and search, and the fourm search is rather unser unfriendly I find.

are u suspecting pump or regulator?
i looked at wiring today in the loom properly and citroen should have done a better job of the shielding of these very important small wires
