C5 Colour Dislpay

Hi, I have a problem with my 52 C5 Excl SE in that the colour display is blank - doesn`t even light up.
I have tried another screen but this is also blank. The radio works but doesn`t always switch off with the ignition and after plugging into Lexia a couple of faults say no comms with the display.

1) Does the display need to be programmed to the car? I know the dot matrix ones work from car to car.
2) Is the problem most likely to be with the ECU fitted above the GPS drive?

Cant help with the problem.....however I do know (my now dead ex car) where there is a complete RT2 system incl working sat nav.....if you need them the car is in Dorset.

Just an update, the problem was with the satnav/screen ECU.
Ended up buying another C5 estate, pinched the ECU from that and hey presto fully function screen.
