That Meguna (Laguna with Megane front end) is quite nice, not as nice as the Laguna but a lot better than the Mazuna (Laguna that looks like a Mazda they're currently flogging).
I had a '52 Laguna Privilege 100HP DCI called Sophie, and she was lovely and comfortable, with loads of power and made the most of the 6 gears. It showed just how poor the 90Hdi was.
Braking was better than the Volvo estates the police used in Hampshire 10 years ago, as I got caught doing just under 95mph on the M3 heading home from a night shift, and pulled over nearly too quickly for the police who asked why I'd slammed my brakes on (I hadn't, they were just bloody good!).
I did 74K miles in 2 years, mostly motorway from Reading to Grimsby (well Mingingham), and was very lax on the servicing due to the costs. Turbo went pop eventually and Renault replaced it under warranty despite my lax servicing record.
Loads of room in the back

The engine did have a fault with the fuel injection system where it would drop into limp mode until the car was rebooted. Problem for me was this nearly always happened on a motorway and I nearly always got a puncture!
I do miss it talking to me though.
I think when all the Xantias have gone to the great garage in the sky, I'll be hunting out a Laguna or Meguna and make sure I change the oil more regularly than the 20K Renault suggested!
