removing plastic surround for stalks on steering collumn

C5 finally decided to give fitting the cruise control a go. Are there screws that will let me loosen off the plastic around the unit to fit the stalk before i cut a hole in it? I wanna make sure it works first.

There are 2x T20 screws that hold the column cowlings on then it just pulls down. Adjust the steering column reach fully towards you first to make it a lot easier. Remember don't cut the cowling till you have made sure it works.
I will be putting Cruise control on a C5 in the next 2 weeks so will take some pics & do a how to guide as it seems to be quite a popular topic just now.
