Thing is I recall in 2010 buying a 'concentrated' bottle and left it in a cupboard in my shed unopened, I found during the harsh winter said concentrate had frozen solid.

The location of the washer bottle probably is not brilliant given most are around the front bumper area. I've seen these 'heaters' where you have a twisted coil of washer pipe around a heater hose* which may work in a fashion, the same as heated jets I guess but the bottle will still freeze.
Question: Is adding a touch of 'Meths to the washer fluid a good idea still ? , I know that has a really low freezing point and should in theory mix in and not separate.
*I looked into these for my 205TD as a fuel heater but the plastic nature of the 'twist' would not of been brilliant with diesel inside.
