CNC/Engingeering works in manchester/warrington

Post by KP »

Does anyone know of anyone that does this kind of work at all?

Im looking to get a conrod made for an aircompressor which has failed so the original is available to use as a pattern as well as its balancing weight so it can be made to specs or the weight shaved up or down as needed?

Can you hit up one of the colleges for a cash job? The bloke I go to has a five axis machine and does nice work, but you'd be in for £300+ with a pro like that.

Here's something he made me:

Got any access/skills with something like solidworks? You could use sliding calipers and a micrometer to knock up a virtual model, and that'd save you bucketloads.
