Went to see and it’s looking very good.
It’s got the original scissor jack with handle, and also the tow hook.

The wheel is steel and the tyre is a Michelin Energy 185/65/15 with plenty of tread, and still under pressure.
The date stamp is 2500, which is June 2000.
That’s supposed to be too old to use, but in Queensland we don’t know that.
I asked the guy if you could afford it, and he said to contact him.

Thanks Clogzz, but no need. he has emailed me his number (not ring me back, that's why i emailed him my number). I'll give him a call tomorrow and get my collogue to check and pick up the parts over the next week.

thinking of replacing the A/C switch (if he'll give it to me cheap) and the steering wheel (if it's cheep and has working controls). Any one know if the A/C switch (the one next to the hazard lights) is hard to replace?

The A/C switch is only clipped in Sam. You're very best removing the switch panel to do it though. Not hard on an S2.

AC switch is dead easy to swap, but you need one off a Series 2 car as the plugs varied a bit. Use your 6" engineer's rule to gently prise out the switch's bottom edge, then the top edge.

No, just the RH switches don't work for controlling the stereo.

More than likely cracks in the flexible printed circuit that links the switch bank to the connector Sam.

With care and patience it might be recoverable...

I am seriously hanging out for series 2 front underfelt that's not been loaded with LHM from a leaky brake doseur.

Couldn’t see anything inside the car, it was absolutely full of junk … a real dump … and possibly flood damage.
The engine and suspension must work because the car was parked on the high setting.

This guy depends entirely on eBay, that’s why I think he doesn’t make STD calls as per Sam’s post.
